RoastMyyResume.in is an AI-powered resume analysis tool built for Indian job seekers. Yes — the double "yy" is intentional. Just like your resume has two mistakes on every line. 😄

We are not a recruitment agency, HR consultancy, or placement service.

When you use RoastMyyResume.in, we may collect:

• Resume text or PDF content you paste or upload
• Job descriptions you paste on the Fit Analyzer page
• Your name initial (only if you voluntarily submit to the leaderboard)
• Role, city, and target company type (selected from dropdowns)
• Basic usage data: pages visited, time spent, browser type (via analytics)

We do NOT collect:

• Your full name (unless you choose to share it)
• Email address (unless you sign up for an account)
• Phone number
• Aadhaar, PAN, or any government ID
• Payment card details (handled entirely by Razorpay)

• To generate your AI resume roast and analysis
• To display anonymised entries on the leaderboard (only if you opt in)
• To improve our AI prompts and product quality
• To send you product updates (only if you subscribe to emails)

We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your resume content is sent to OpenAI's API for AI processing. OpenAI may retain data as per their own privacy policy. We recommend you do not include sensitive personal information in your resume such as:

• Aadhaar number
• PAN card number
• Passport details
• Bank account information

We store your roast results temporarily to display your results page. We do not permanently store your full resume text after analysis is complete.

If you choose to submit your roast to the #RoastMonday leaderboard:

• Only your first name initial, role, city, score, and best roast line are shown
• Your full resume content is never shown publicly
• You can request removal by contacting us

We use minimal cookies to:

• Remember your theme preference (dark/light)
• Remember if you dismissed the announcement bar
• Basic analytics to understand site usage

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

We take reasonable measures to protect your data. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. Use this service at your own discretion.

RoastMyyResume.in is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated policy.
